a night to remember...

last night was really a worth remembering.Danna and i went to Gweilo's eastwood to watch Spongecola play live.I was little bit tired kse galing pa ako ng Nueva Ecija and i was thinking Danna wouldn't enjoy our gimik kse 2 lang kami...so i asked shalise,via and arjel to come with us although it's not their kind of music.from the start i was telling them na walang magrereklamo kse the band plays rock music and super loud pa...nobody knows where gweilo's located basta alam ko sa eastwood...then we saw the place ..we went in...entrance was only 150php and more than 5 bands were scheduled to play...i don't care about the other bands kse Spongecola was the only reason why i went there...
inside Gweilo's,it's a small place,medyo mainit but it's nice and there's an elevated platform which i thought would be the place for the bands to play...but no...the bands will play at the middle...yes at the middle...abot kamay yun mga band members...and it was my first time to watch a band that near...kse sa hardrock cafe-makati merun stage...anyway,Spongecola was supposed to be the 1st band to play pero late sila...so, dang and i went out to get some cash.pagbalik namin,i saw Yael and Chris entering the place...and that's the time i knew this is all true and finally happening...
since it's a small,cozy place,we're sitting at the left side of the band,kaya super saya ko talaga ang lapit-lapit lang nila sa min.they played:
A tear (yale introduced their band and the 1st song);
KLSP;(which buchay can't believe na sila yun kumanta nun)
Una;(my favorite!this song made my night...which i recorded sa digicam...after the song nasira na yun digicam ko!!!i always wanted to hear that song live...kse nun sa UP FebFair di nila tinugtog.);
Lunes (super galing ni Chris actually silang lahat...)
and Jeepney (Yan yuzon was a guest guitarist...which made danna's night!!!hehe...and favorite song na yan ni Via...hehe may naaalala kse...and the Yael growls at the end...woah!!!damn voice!)
we're a lil frustrated kse di nila kinanta yun Crazy for you...But still my friends was able to enjoy and appreciate the kind of music i was really into...so ok na lahat...then danna told me...tara baba tayo mag papicture tyo...the problem was nahihiya ako when it's time to get near or talk to the band members...but then i realize it's not everyday that i get the chance to meet someone who i really adore saka hellooo galing ako probinsya...ang layo noon ha...so dang and i went down,Yael was still there signing cds,we approached him and asked if we could have a picture taken together,i told him i'm from nueva ecija and then he remembered me kse naka-chat ko sya a night before...he shooked my hands and jokingly said:"oh pano ka nakarating dito"...so yun we had a small chat then i took a picture of dang and him...ang lola mo nauna pa sa kin..then it's me na...i'm lil taller than him...his face was so near with mine...i can't even smile nicely coz nagchi-chill ako...eh kse ang lapit nya super...he really knew how to make kilig his fans ha...chickboy yan si Yael...
haaayyyy,i was so emotionally tired last March,it was my most difficult time that i almost lost my faith...i've set my mind that i really have to leave and take a breather by April,i enrolled a summer class at UP, i went to Bolinao and i had the chance to meet Yael and watch Spongecola play live...and it's all good...my summer 2005 is almost complete...meeting Yael and finally seeing them play ng malapitan really made me realize dreams do come true and life is so fun...not every one has the chance to do that...and i look silly kse di ko matanggal yun smile ko until now...
